SENTO Restaurant
Restaurant Interior Design | Athens
SENTO Restaurant is an interior design for a contemporary dining space in Athens, where the culinary experience is closely linked to comfort, hospitality, and spatial balance. The design focuses on creating an environment that supports social interaction, conversation, and prolonged stay without visual or sensory overload.
Core concept
The concept is rooted in the idea of calm sociality. Rather than relying on bold gestures, the space prioritizes familiarity and flow, allowing guests to feel at ease whether dining in small groups or larger gatherings.
Spatial organization
The layout is organized into distinct yet interconnected seating zones, creating rhythm and cohesion without rigid separation. Curved geometries, arches, and recessed areas act as soft spatial filters, offering a sense of privacy while maintaining openness.
Materiality & palette
Materiality is defined by natural materials and warm tones, with wood, stone, and soft textiles forming the core of the palette. Earthy colors reinforce a sense of comfort, warmth, and timeless appeal.
Light & atmosphere
Lighting is conceived as an atmospheric element, using indirect and low-intensity sources to enhance surfaces and define dining areas. Light accentuates curved forms and textures, creating depth and an inviting, intimate ambiance.
Dining experience
SENTO Restaurant proposes a dining experience shaped by relaxed elegance, comfort, and understated design, where architecture serves as a quiet backdrop to food and human connection.
